An exciting opportunity to join our team in the Corporate Aviation Industry as a Ground Handler (Linecrew) at the south side of Vancouver International Airport has become available. Being a Ground Handler (or Linecrew) involves taking care of aircraft parking, fueling, towing, along with other duties. Linemen are often referred to as customer service people, since they deal strictly with corporate jets from all around the world. Good attendance, punctuality and the willingness to learn will go a long way if you have any sort of interest in the aviation industry.

The lineperson's job is an important basic career development step and can lead to many aviation careers.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
- **HAVING A CLASS 3 DRIVERS LICENCE WITH AIR ENDORSEMENT IS AN ASSET**_

We will train the individual with the right attitude and an eagerness to learn. The position requires strong communication skills, **good command of written and spoken English,** strong customer service attributes and a willingness to work outdoors on a rotating shift basis covering the 24 hour clock.

You will be a High School Graduate at a minimum and require a clean driver's abstract along with a valid and current drivers License (class 5 and able to obtain a class 3/A). You must be able to obtain a Transport Canada security clearance.

Starting rates from $22 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience. Part time (leading to full time) shifts are available.

Upon completion of training, acquiring a class 3/A license, and getting your Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC), pay rates go up.

Starting rates from $25 per hour for those already with a class 3 license.
