**What You Will Do**:

- Contact potential vendors for pricing materials; and maintain price-lists with alternate

suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency of materials being purchased.
- Generate the Purchase Order in the system and electronically send the Purchase order to

the Supplier.
- Maintain records of Purchase Orders so they can be matched to the Packing Slips and

pricing can be verified against the vendor invoice.
- Electronically receive materials from the order and generate a Purchase Receipt
- Receive vendor invoices and verify the quantities prices match the Purchase Order
- Contact vendors to correct order price and/or quantity discrepancies, or in the case of

damaged or missing material.
- Source materials for upcoming projects
- Scheduling of inbound material by communicating with the receiving team
- Matching up Packing Slips, Purchase Orders and Invoices and making sure they are

processed in preparation for accounting to process payments to the vendors.
- Communicate with Production, Maintenance, Sales, and Marketing (when required) of

received material.
- Coordinate the shipping of material to the plant.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years’ previous purchasing experience
- Knowledge of purchasing principles and practices
- Experience with ERP is an asset
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Logistics experience including cross border shipping
