**Required Qualifications**:

- Scholarly interests focused on strategy, project management, entrepreneurship, business analytics, or innovation.
- Strong potential to produce high-quality publications in the field.
- Evidence of a robust research pipeline and the ability to secure external research funding.
- Potential to teach and demonstrate pedagogical innovation in undergraduate, graduate (MBA, MSc), and/or PhD-level courses in management.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated success in securing research grants.
- A proven record of at least one publication in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals (e.g., “A” or “B” level, first quartile), as recognized by reputable journal quality lists such as ABDC, SJR, or Harzing.
- Willingness and proficiency in delivering courses across various formats, including in-person, online, and hybrid methods.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Active engagement in service activities.

- A research statement describing a five-year research plan (max 2 pages)
- A job market paper (sole or primary authored paper or manuscript in preparation, which can be a working paper from a thesis)

- Teaching statement, including evidence and examples of pedagogical innovations (max 2 pages) and course evaluations (if applicable)

The Department of Management is an integral part of the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics (Guelph’s Business School). Formed in 2006, the Lang School is the youngest college at the University of Guelph but delivers one of the largest undergraduate business programs in Ontario with over 3,800 students currently enrolled. Our School provides a learning environment that encourages critical reflection, personal growth, and promotes traditional and emerging themes of management and economics. We offer a wide range of specialized programs in business and economics across undergraduate, graduate, and professional education.
