The Ministry of Education, Robarts School for the Deaf in London, Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch, require ASL-English Interpreters to provide interpreting services in educational and resource services programs for students and staff who do not share the same language or culture.**About the job**:

- Provide interpreting services for Deaf students and staff in various settings.
- Provide interpreting services for administrative and professional staff in sensitive and demanding situations.
- Provide interpreting services for training sessions and workshops.

**What you bring to the team**:
**Mandatory requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in ASL-English Interpreting
- Fluency in American Sign Language and English

**Knowledge and Skills**: Your background and experience enables you to meet the following requirements:

- Ability to interpret in a wide range of formal, informal, educational and professional settings.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Professional Code of Ethics of the Canadian Association of Sign Language Interpreters (CASLI).
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of Deaf culture.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
