**About the Role**:
A CME Medical Writer at Ogilvy Health is an experienced copywriter with a strong attention to detail, advanced competency in medical science and advanced copywriting skills. They create original, persuasive, medically accurate communications and simplify complex information while presenting it in a compelling manner. CME Medical Writers actively participate in program and content development and are involved in medical meetings with different stakeholders (i.e., clients, scientific committees).

**What You'll Do**
- Draft high-quality clinical, medical and educational documents
- Work closely with the account team on program definition and realization
- Write for med ed and med comms projects such as ad boards, educational programs, slide deck adaptations, manuscripts, clinical abstracts, websites, videos, conference coverage reports, etc.
- Review content from consulting/back-up writers working on other therapeutic areas to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Maintain document history and manage version control by following the OH process
- Participate in brainstorms and ideation sessions
- Complete projects on time and on budget

**What You'll Need**
- Relevant education (M.Sc. or higher, as well as 2+ years' writing experience)
- Advanced oral and written communication skills (bilingualism an asset)
- Excellent research, strategic, and analytical capabilities
- Experience with medical education or communications is preferred
- Excellent understanding of the drug development process, data analysis and management, regulatory submissions and the regulatory environments for scientific tools in Canada
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical process/requirements
- Team player who is eager to collaborate
- Avid listener, learner, contributor, and creative thinker
- Solutions-oriented and resourceful
- Accountable, independent, and mindful of others
- Interest in science, health, and marketing, with a desire to keep learning
- Meticulous - attention to detail is a must
