**About Us**:
The Faculty of Health Sciences is a large, diverse, and comprehensive unit, comprised of six Schools (Nursing, Kinesiology, Health Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Communication Sciences and Disorders), a large Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and four Research Centres. The faculty has more than 3,200 undergraduate students and more than 800 graduate students (200 PhD students).

The faculty is home to 4 world-class research centres, including; Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging (CCAA), National Center for Audiology (NCA), Centre for Research on Health Equity and Social Inclusion (CRHESI) and the International Centre for Olympic Studies (ICOS). In addition, the faculty, through the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, operates the H.A. Leeper Speech and Hearing Clinic. The faculty also is considering expanding its offering in interprofessional clinical experiences and programs.

**Responsibilities**:
The Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) Coordinator supports CRHESI's knowledge sharing activities with and among
academic and community partner organizations; it also supports, as needed and appropriate, research activities so as to
develop tailored KMb plans. Given the number of projects within the CRHESI eco-system, the KMb Coordinator ensures
that knowledge sharing strategies are developed congruent with CRHESI's desired role on the project, that CRHESI is
appropriately engaged in projects that include full partnership, and that CRHESI facilitates initiation of, and is involved
with, newly developing projects. The overall role of the KMb Coordinator is to develop and support relationships/create
linkages between, and support partners in, their KMb efforts, and coordinate CRHESI's role, and that of its members, in
achieving key outcomes including both community-relevant and academic outputs.
- The KMb Coordinator works closely with the Research/Evaluation Coordinator. Together, the individuals in both of these
roles will support the administrative functions of CRHESI. The KMb reports mutually to the Academic Director and the
Community Director. The CRHESI Executive Committee provides guidance related to CRHESI activities that are
supported by the KMb Coordinator.
Note: The incumbent will have working space primarily at the CRHESI workspace at Innovation Works, downtown
London but may also be required to work on campus in designated space.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Masters degree in an equity-related field of study, such as health equity, social determinants of health, and/or

marginalized populations
- PhD degree preferred

**Experience**:

- Experience preparing knowledge mobilization plans, in consultation with producers and users of researchbased

and other relevant knowledge
- A record of successful community-based facilitation, needs assessment and knowledge sharing
- Experience in initiating and sustaining relationships with community-based non-profit organizations, persons

with lived/living experience, and/or government
- A record of successful publication of research-based outputs, online and in other venues, using a variety of

strategies (written, verbal, arts-based, etc.)
- Experience in preparing and maintaining websites, social media accounts, etc.
- Experience in project administration is preferred
- To support the overall CRHESI mission of generating new knowledge and tailoring KMb plans accordingly,

experience with program evaluation, including process and outcome evaluation using qualitative, quantitative
and mixed-method research designs

- Support PI’s Wathen (LCF grant) and Modanloo (SSHRC grant) and named community partner investigators, London Intercommunity Health Centre and Cross-Cultural Learner Centre
- Support RA’s hired by PI’s to complete data collection, analysis and knowledge mobilization during this period to meet partner needs and timelines.
- Creation of an interim knowledge mobilization product of client perspectives on services of the Newcomer Clinic in the format of a video which includes:

- Train and orient RAs for data collection aligned with research approaches and aims.
- Support transcription and translation of interviews into English.
- Analysis of client responses based on a collaboratively developed narrative framework with the purpose to
