The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting, maintaining, and developing the Calgary and Southern Alberta market area to increase profitability by promoting the sales of our products to new and existing customers. You rapidly build trust with your customers and provide solutions to meet their needs. _You are tech savvy and have a background in construction and project management with knowledge of flat roofing._

**Key Elements of the Role**:

- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations through regular contact and prompt reliable service, ensuring customers’ need are met.
- Maintain market intelligence and information on market conditions and competitive products and pricing and share information within the company.
- Manage customer expectations and handle issues and complaints professionally.
- Achieve and exceed annual sales goals and objectives.
- Schedule orders in co-ordination with the production team.
- Supports other business activities as required.
- Provide technical support to PFB organization.
- Collections.

What we're looking for - **Key Competencies, Experience and Abilities**:

- Post-Secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years sales experience
- Familiar with building code legislation
- Experience with design and estimating
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Understanding of shipping and manufacturing logistics
- Motivation and flexibility to succeed in a competitive environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving and critical thinking
- Detail oriented with good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Previous experience with AutoCAD as asset
- Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
- Commercial Flat roofing experience an asset
