**Required Skills**:
**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The SAP Quality Assurance Analyst will help deliver multiple IT projects spanning most divisions at IMAX. He or she will be responsible for developing test plans, coordinate test execution, reporting on test results, managing defect resolution, and ensure test results are accurately documented in testing tool. He or she will also help IMAX IT to further enhance the overall software testing process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to define test scope
- Evaluate test coverage and adjust to project requirements
- Catalog and maintain test scenario library
- Maintain a test repository and manages knowledge documentation
- Create detailed, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Coordinate with functional analysts to write test scripts
- Coordinate definition and setup of test data
- Design, develop and execute manual test scenarios
- Identify, record, document, track, and manage test defects
- Assist end users to perform User Acceptance Testing
- Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved
- Present testing results and progress to management team
- Convert step-by-step test execution guides to user guides
- Design, development, and implementation of quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices
- Ensure project and test documentation are compliant with audit requirements
- Verify project documentation meets QA and IT standards
- Tooling - help to develop opportunities for testing automation (e.g., in Panaya)
- Methodology - document the testing process and needed artifacts either in Panaya or Confluence, Jira, etc. (e.g., traceability matrix)

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Bachelors-degree in Computer Science or applicable work experience
- 5+ years of experience in the Testing/QA field with a passion for quality and a demonstrated track record of continuously improving
- Thorough and methodical testing discipline
- Strong attention to details
- Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g.: Panaya (preferred), HP ALM, other)
- Testing experience and basic knowledge in SAP modules FICO, SD, MM/WM, PP
- Good hands-on experience in test planning and execution of documented test conditions either manually or through automated scripts
- Experience executing functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate and articulate to stakeholders and management across multiple business functions
- Experience with agile and waterfall-based software testing
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to manage test activities for multiple projects at the same time
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
