Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts
- Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids
- Assemble fittings and valves for installation
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in HVAC systems
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Strong grasp of basic math for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of plumbing techniques including soldering, welding, threading pipes
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings
- Capability to lift heavy objects or equipment
- Carpentry skills for cutting openings in structures for pipes or fixtures
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
