Pacific Ropes has been a trusted general contractor in Western Canada for over 14 years, specializing in civil, power generation, petroleum, and other industries. We are seeking an experienced **Journeyman/Woman Painter** with a **Red Seal Certification** to take on **casual painting and coatings work**.

This role is ideal for someone looking to **supplement their current position** with additional hours while working on exciting projects. Work may involve painting at heights, with opportunities to travel, enhance your skills, and grow into other roles or projects.

**Qualifications**
- **Journeyman/Red Seal Painter Certification** (or equivalent).
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Physical and mental fitness to work at heights and in challenging environments.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures and practices.

**Preferred (but not required)**:

- Scissor Lift / Boom Lift Certification (training available).
- Fall Arrest Certification (training available).
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform painting and coating tasks on various structures and facilities.
- Maintain personal and company-provided equipment in good condition.
- Assist with setup and takedown of tools and equipment at each job site.
- Work safely at heights and follow all safety protocols.
- Represent Pacific Ropes professionally to clients and the general public.
- Identify and report unsafe practices or hazards to supervisors.
- Complete daily tasks within the allocated timeframes.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to site-specific safety plans.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- 8 hour shift
