**Childcare Centre Supervisor**

**Must be RECE**

Looking for a childcare centre supervisor with a minimum **2**years* of experience as a Childcare centre supervisor, preferably in a Montessori School.

- Proficient with Windows and MAC systems
- Proficient in using all Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) programs and navigating the Internet
- Familiar with invoicing and payroll software

**The duties expected will be**:

- ‐‑ Ensure the ongoing safety and well-‐‑being of all children and staff
- ‐‑ Monitor staff and ensure child : teacher ratio is always maintained
- ‐‑ Respond to all parent questions, comments, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- ‐‑ Organize and conduct monthly staff meetings and P.A days
- ‐‑ Provide oversight and mentoring regarding policies, procedures, and goals
- ‐‑ Maintain all records as required by both the Ministry of Education and Public Health
- ‐‑ Represent the service during Ministry of Education and Public Health visits or audits
- ‐‑ Development of policies and procedures under the CCEYA and Human Resources
- ‐‑ Updating CCLS when required (entering new staff, submitting for a Serious Occurrence, responding to program advisor requests etc).
- ‐‑ Monitors, reviews, and approves all written work of the staff
- ‐‑ Evaluate employee performance and provide both written and verbal feedback on an ongoing basis
- ‐‑ Hire and train new staff
- ‐‑ Conduct monthly fire drills and other necessary emergency situations (Code Red, Tornado)
- ‐‑ Prepare staff schedules and approving staff time cards using ADP
- ‐‑ Responsible for collecting and documenting monthly student tuition payments
- ‐‑ Planning and attending all field trips and summer camp programming
- ‐‑ Co-‐‑ordinate extra-‐‑curricular activities for the children
- ‐‑ Responding to e-‐‑mails and answering the phone
- ‐‑ Conduct school tours and registrations
- ‐‑ Track and project student enrollment
- ‐‑ Worked with Simcoe Early Intervention Services as well as Child Care Fee Subsidy
- ‐‑ Complete ERIK Assessments and Nipissing Screens where and when necessary

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
