Being part of a construction crew to meet scheduling goals and client expectations.
- Ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Attending and providing input at Project Meetings with the Lead and Project Manager and proactively identifying solutions to support the project.
- Assist the lead carpenter and the onsite crew to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible results for Scope, Quality, and Schedule Targets.
- Managing company equipment and transportation, protection of materials and any onsite company assets.
- Support your onsite crew by listening, giving feedback and teaching.
- Keeping a record and documenting all out of scope activities as well effectively communicating any issues on site.
- Supporting and maintaining a healthy, happy work environment and boosting the Connolly Culture.
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional presentation of your work site.

Skills & Requirements
- 4-6 years general contracting experience
- Critical thinking skills, team player and willingness to learn and adapt to company standards.
- Minimum of 5 years residential carpentry experience.
- Must have experience on Framing and Trim
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Pays Strong attention the smallest detail
- Very Client focused
- Dependability
- Excellent Interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Can exercise sound Judgment with strong problem solving skills.
- Must be Organized, Reliable and most of all, a team player.
- Able to give and receive constructive feedback
- Must have hand tools experience.

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 4 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
