**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when required.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client conditions to nursing staff or family members.
- Engage clients in activities that promote physical and mental stimulation, including those with dementia or requiring hospice care.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a nursing home, assisted living facility, or similar caregiving environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices and hospice care principles is a plus.
- Ability to perform medication administration safely and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting and assisting clients with mobility.
- A caring demeanor with a genuine passion for providing high-quality senior care.
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent training is desirable but not mandatory.
