BECOME A PRIVATE PIANO / GROUP MUSIC INSTRUCTOR AT KANATA MUSIC CENTRE

Kanata Music Centre is seeking dedicated, dynamic piano instructors to join our music education team. (*opportunity for becoming a Yamaha group curriculum instructor available)

[Skills required]

Strong keyboard playing/ sight reading (RCM Gr.10 and above, or equivalent)

Sing confidently & in pitch while playing

Strong music fundamentals (sense of pitch, rhythm, harmony)

Musical creativity (improvisation, composition)

Versatility (various styles)

Dynamic classroom manner

Schedule: One evening or more to start. Immediately or after July

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $32.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON K2K 1Y3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Piano teaching: 2 years (required)
