We are currently hiring full-time baristas to work only at the flagship store located at 505 Hwy 7, Thornhill. The functions of this job entail payment handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, drink preparation and various duties required in a cafe. We are prioritizing those able to work 3 to 5 shifts a week, predominantly on the weekends, evening closings, & holiday **Responsibilities and Duties**: - Craft beverages, prepare toppings, and package food for customers - Operate the Point of Sales (POS) terminal - Maintain inventory by replenishing stock when needed from storage - Maintain safe and healthy work environments by following formalized standard operating procedures - Maintain a consistently clean and well-maintained sales floor and stockroom - Adhere to the cleaning schedule to prolong the life of all equipment **Requirements**: - Previous experience working in food and beverage industry (preferably >1 year working in food & beverage and/or retail) - Excellent customer service skills, excellent team player - Excellent communication skills, in English, Mandarin is preferred but not required. - Able to work well under pressure - Ability to work standing, occasionally lift up to 25kg and carry items as required - Ability to work evenings, weekends, and/or Statutory holidays - Attend paid training and onboarding sessions prior to commencement of employment **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $15.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Day shift - Evening shift - Holidays - Night shift - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Tips Ability to commute/relocate: - Thornhill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Shift availability: - Night Shift (preferred) Work Location: In person
