The Allure Hotel & Conference Centre is located at 20 Fairview Road in Barrie, Ontario. Independently owned and operated, our full service hotel is looking for a genuine and professional individual to join our team at the front desk. Holiday Inn Barrie is the only full service Hotel & Conference Centre in Barrie, with 161 guest rooms and 13 meeting rooms and onsite restaurant, Spynn Lounge and Restaurant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide 100% guest service through all interactions with hotel guests

Ensure 100% guest satisfaction with the hotel and services, where required resolve concerns or service issues

Answer the hotel switchboard as per hotel approved greeting and good telephone manner

Assist guests with reservations and reservation inquiries

Check in and check out guests

Responsible for a cash float and following accurate daily transaction procedures in compliance with the policies and payment procedures

To handle gift shop sales according to property procedures

Responsible for accommodating all guests’ inquiries in an efficient and professional manner to guests’ satisfaction

Liaison between guest and all departments

Responsible for maintaining good communication between team members, supervisors and managers.

Ensure front desk and gift shop areas are stocked and clean daily in order to function efficiently.

Communication between shifts in order to avoid discrepancies in service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ensure 100% guest satisfaction through maintaining and exceeding hotel standards of quality and service

Ability to work both as a team and independently

Opera experience an asset

Must be able to weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays
