**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Senior Director of Operational Food Safety and Quality Assurance, the Inventory Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of the plant's inventory. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, conducting quality checks, analyzing data, and ensuring that all inventory processes meet the company's standards and regulatory requirements. The technician will work closely with the food safety and quality assurance team and other departments to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, improve processes, and maintain optimal stock levels.
**T**he Role**:
- Ensures traceability of raw materials placed on hold.
- Carry out sampling and inspection as required.
- Document all information sought and requested in the documentation system.
- Monitors product disposition to ensure proper execution and documentation.
- Communicates status and disposition information effectively with the various departments involved, such as production, receiving and shipping, internal and external warehouses, quality assurance, research and development, etc.
**What** **you** **will** **bring**
- Education: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality department in the food industry, cosmetic or pharmaceutical.
- Knowledge and experience with HACCP programs, food regulation, and GFSI Schemes (i.e., SQF, BRC) are an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; ERP experience an asset.
- Bilingual (English and French). Must have strong English communication skills (speaking, reading and writing).
- High level of attention to detail and autonomy.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to establish priorities and manage a varying workload.
- Communicates easily and effectively with all levels of the organization, from the top to the bottom, as well as with the various departments.
