Truck It Personnel is in collaboration with one of the largest fuel companies in the GTA.
We are looking to fill a full time Bookkeeper position for their head office in Toronto.
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper is a key member of the administrative team and is responsible for all financial transactions related to the company’s operations.
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for the organization.
- Perform daily account management for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and related financial entries.
- Perform daily and monthly inventory management and reconciliation.
- Confirm transactions are recorded accurately and appropriately.
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Utilize accounting software and tools proficiently to maintain financial records and generate reports.
- Support operations with price analysis and customer quotes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification is preferred.
- 5+ years of Accountant or Bookkeeping experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of accounting software (Sage 300)
- Advance knowledge of Excel

**Schedule**: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
**Pay Rate**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
