**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Expeditor to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly to guests. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain high standards of service.

**Duties**
- Coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards before they are served.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Operate POS systems for order entry and payment processing as needed.
- Support guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with servers and bartenders to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Participate in training new staff on food safety protocols and operational procedures.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, with a focus on roles such as serving, cooking, or food preparation.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food.
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Background in hotel or barista services is a plus but not required.
