**We are recruiting for a Technical Manager**:
The Technical Manager ensures the quality and smooth operation of the Audio/Video LX onsite and team.

They are responsible for the coordination between all technical disciplines related to the event operations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure that the venue is functioning during performances.
- Manage the technical teams (Audio, Video, LX)
- Ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the show
- Ensure tasks are completed in the desire timeline.
- Liaison with other departments for the technical team.
- Arrange for necessary repairs to be made as quickly and efficiently as possible.

**PREREQUISITES**:

- At least 3-years of experience is a must.
- Knowledge of transportation and loading requirements.
- Experience managing a team of technical technicians
- Experience with equipment used in productions, such as: audio, video, lighting, special effects, and stage rigging.
- Knowledge of regulatory safety codes and standards, able to identify safety issues.
- Demonstrate risk assessment and management skills.
- Ability to navigate various CAD platforms, Microsoft Office.
- General knowledge of construction aggregates and materials.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
