**Overview**
The Board of Directors plays a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction and governance of the organization.

**Responsibilities**

The Treasurer shall provide oversight to the financial operations and obligations of Hamilton Soccer.

Treasurer shall advise on all financial matters of the Corporation, evaluate the appropriateness of investments and transactions. They shall play a key role in the creation and implementation of the yearly budget. The Treasurer shall participate in all employee reviews and financial increases resulting from those reviews. The Treasurer shall advise on the need and use of any third-party groups whose services Hamilton Soccer may need to employ from time to time. The Treasurer shall supply information required and answer any questions required during the audit process.

The Treasurer shall report directly to the Board of Directors and occasionally the members on the financial position of Hamilton Soccer.

This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking to make a significant impact on an organization’s success while working collaboratively with other dedicated professionals on the Board of Directors.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
