Warehouse Receiver/ Material Handler

The *Warehouse Receiver/ Material Handler* is responsible for receiving, storing, and tracking incoming shipments of goods. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving shipments of products or materials and recording information such as shipping details, weight, dimensions, etc. in computer systems
- Receiving and unpacking incoming shipments, storing items until they can be processed further, and making sure they are stored properly
- Communicating with warehouse staff about shipment arrivals, processing needs, and other information that may be relevant to the warehouse and or manufacturing operations
- Making sure that all products are properly stored in accordance with appropriate regulations regarding temperature, humidity, light exposure, etc.
- Packaging items for shipping using boxes, packing materials, labels, and other supplies as needed
- Performing clerical tasks such as data entry, preparing and filing documents, and answering phones
- Maintaining records of warehouse inventory levels, sales, orders, and other data related to the warehouse operation QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and or relevant work experience in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- ERP or like computerized experience preferred. SKILLS: - must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills in order to keep track of all the different items coming into their warehouse at any given time.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment with significant organizational growth and change.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- High degree of computer proficiency.
- Excellent people skills, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities
- High energy, high ownership of work product, and dedication and commitment to driving results
