Renew Services Inc. is a growing company that is looking to add to our team. We specialize in trenchless sewer repairs and also work within the water and sewer industry. Work includes sanitary and water lines, catch basins, manholes, fire hydrants, etc. We are currently hiring for a foreman with operator experience. Our company, unlike many water and sewer companies, typically works year round and offers a combined additional pay of 10% for vacation and general holiday pay.

**Experience**

Experience an asset, type of heavy equipment operated:

- Backhoe excavator, loader
- Compactor
- Dump truck
- Gravel or dump truck

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage project timelines and resources to ensure successful project completion
- Collaborate with management and field crew to align project objectives
- Operate and maintain backhoes and other heavy equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Safely and efficiently dig trenches, excavate, and load/unload materials
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Prepare accident and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Dig ground to expose utilities and repair damaged pipes
- Assist in constructing underground installations
- Dig ditches and trenches

**Skills**:

- Proficient in operating backhoes and other heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members

- Driving record check (abstract) and valid driver's license

- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
- Ground Disturbance - Level II program

Note: certificates are not mandatory, but preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 50 per week
