**What you’ll be doing**:
**The Inventory Supervisor & Logistics PM serves as the functional manager of inventory staff in addition to managing big bookings and kitting projects for the warehouse.**
- Place reorders as needed to maintain stock levels within service levels and inventory turn targets, while maintaining purchases within planned monthly purchasing budget.
- Evaluate Backorder, Line Fill, and Items to Order reports to identify service level gaps and make adjustments to reach or surpass identified service level targets.
- Perform bulk buy analysis to identify opportunities to re-negotiate for a better cost on an item based on annual usage.
- Report on and assess inventory targets monthly with senior management
- Supervise team of dropship order expeditors and ensure dropship orders are processed within established SLA’s
- Utilize ERP and Reporting Tools to report on established and adhoc inventory metrics,
- Recommend and order initial buy inventory quantities for new catalog launch or program refresh
- Work with manager to determine if kitting and special project activity qualifies for internal warehouse execution or if it should be outsourced (due to project complexity or internal warehouse peak-volume seasons.
- Coordinate with manager and other DC Coordinator(s) any in-stock product requirements for projects, and work with receivers for incoming product shipments to complete projects.
- Prepare shipping labels using an Excel spreadsheet, upload to the UPS system, and provide tracking for all shipments.

**Qualifications**:
**What you bring to the table**
- Ability to supervise and manage performance of inventory staff
- Proficient in principles of inventory management
- Strong understanding of inventory forecasting methods
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize work assignments
- Proficient with MS Office software, especially Excel, Access, and Word.
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills

**What’s needed
- Basic Qualifications**
- 3+ purchasing experience with budget and/or service accountability. Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience within an ERP system_._
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience within an ERP system
- Minimum of 2 years of project coordination and management
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
