Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent degree, be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the Province of Ontario, be Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (SAIM) or have recently completed an approved ACVIM or ECVIM residency program.
The OVC Health Sciences Centre (OVC HSC) offers state of the art diagnostic equipment including but not limited to a 1.5 Tesla high field General Electric MRI, CT, digital radiology, PACS system, state of the art ultrasonography, scintigraphy, arthroscopy, total hip replacement, Ho-YAG laser, fluoroscopy, Ultrasonic aspirator, dialysis and plasmapheresis (CRRT), ventilator, video endoscopy, and a 24/7 fully staffed intensive care. The faculty and staff of the Department of Clinical Studies and the OVC-HSC are committed to delivering the very best of patient care.
