**Duties and Responsibilities**
1. Diagnose and perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership, factory and warranty policies and procedures.
2. Discuss any problems related to the repair with a Technician or Service Manager.
3. Communicates with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
4. Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by customer.
5. Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
6. Informs the Service Advisor of any additional repairs needed or advised.
7. Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
8. Road tests vehicles after repairs are completed, to ensure that the repairs have been properly done, and that the repair answers the concerns as stated on the work order.
9. Understands and keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins and vehicle regulations.
10. Ensures that customer cars are kept clean. Notifies Service Advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
11. Performs hoist and machinery maintenance and maintains equipment maintenance records.
12. Attends all training courses as requested by Service Manager.
13. Shuttles vehicles into and out of service area.
14. Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
15. Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
16. Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
17. Sets-up and organizes individual work area with designated supplies, forms and resource materials while maintaining cleanliness at all times.
18.Responsible to comply with the Health & Safety program and to participate in all required training
19.Report all workplace hazards immediately
20.Take an active role in protecting and promoting the health and safety within the company
21.Refrain from activities that may jeopardize employees’ health and safety
22.Report immediately all incidents resulting in injuries, occupational illnesses or property/equipment damage
