This key leadership role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering and may be located across Canada (Calgary, Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver) at one of our Data Center Facilities. You will collaborate with multiple business units, including Operations and Infrastructure, IT and Security and Compliance. Your efforts will unify our approach, creating a consistent and repeatable operational framework across all our facilities.

**Your contribution**
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Measure the current organizational maturity and identify priority programs that increase operational maturity across the organization. Examples of such programs are: occupational health & safety, asset management, vendor management, critical spare parts management, infrastructure lifecycle management, efficiency & capacity optimization, training and drilling programs and internal audit programs.
- Define program goals and measure the progress.
- Create and implement internal inspection and audit programs.
- Create and implement a national training program for infrastructure and operations.
- Lead and promote a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ensure operational alignment and national adherence to processes, compliance & regulation.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, suppliers & vendors.
- Create KPI and reports that allows the organization to easily track and analyze performance against strategic goals. Build program progress reporting to senior leadership. Frequency of reporting and format determined on a case-by-case basis.
**Working Conditions**
The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday_._ Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and manage stress. The role requires some travel (20-35%) to advance initiatives and visit team members across Canada.
**The profile we are looking for**:
Experience
- 10 plus years of experience in the data center field
- 5 plus years of experience in a program management role
- A comprehensive understanding of industry best practices
- Proven track record of results
- Strong operational excellence experience
- Bilingual in French and English*
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Excellent computer literacy (word, excel, etc.)
- Experience in defining and tracking program objectives
- Entrepreneurial mindset
Education/Certification/Description
- University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
- PMP Certification*
