**About Us**

We are a in-home Montessori daycare located in Greystone Village area of North Burnaby, caring for a group of 8 children. Our warm and nurturing environment is built on the principles of respect, independence, and hands-on learning. We are currently seeking a caring, reliable, and motivated educator to support our lead teacher and help create a safe, engaging space where young children can thrive.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing educational activities
- Lead and support children’s art, craft, and science projects
- Supervise children to ensure their safety, engagement, and well-being throughout the day
- Support children’s daily routines, including meals, diaper changes, toileting, and transitions
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Greet and dismiss children, maintaining friendly and professional communication with parents
- Observe and record children’s behavior and development to support individualized learning

**Certification**
- ECE or ECEA (required)
- First Aid and CPR Certification (required)

**Qualifications**
- Experience in early childhood education is required
- Knowledge of Montessori philosophy and experience in a Montessori environment is preferred
- Creative and hands-on skills (e.g. arts, music, crafts, sensory play, STEM experiments) are a plus
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $20.00-$29.00 per hour
