**Job Posting**: Child and Youth Care Worker in Beautiful Northern BC
Our agency is expanding, and we are hiring for Child and Youth Care Workers

We are looking for a Child and Youth Care Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team to work with children birth - 19 years of age. The Child and Youth Care Worker would use family-centered, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approaches to provide consultation, assessment, intervention and monitoring.

The position is permanent and can be full-time or part-time.

**General Responsibilities**:
Meet with clients on scheduled session dates and carry out scheduled plans from the service plan
- Complete written document and reports as required.
- Plan and facilitate individualized client sessions based on their goals.
- Participate as required in service plan and staff meetings.
- Consult with Family Support Manager on a monthly basis regarding client progress.
- To communicate effectively with children, families, and the KCDC team.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate or Diploma in Human Service Worker, Child and Youth Care, Therapeutic Recreation or equivalent.
- College students encouraged to apply.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Current Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle for work use, preferred
- Available Monday to Friday, and be able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required
