**About the Role**

Bayswater is growing—and we’re looking for motivated Lead Carpenters to join our team and help deliver high-quality **six-figure residential renovation projects** across Vancouver.

Most of our work centers on large-scale home renovations, with the occasional extras—like building gazebos, installing doors and drawers, and other custom carpentry.

About **75% of the role is hands-on carpentry**, while the other 25% involves **managing small teams**: delegating tasks, keeping projects on schedule, and occasionally communicating with clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone earlier in their leadership career who’s eager to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility while still being on the tools every day.

**Who You Are**
- 5-9 years of residential carpentry experience
- Comfortable with framing, finishing, and installation work
- Able to delegate tasks and keep small projects organized
- Strong communicator who’s professional and approachable with clients
- Motivated, reliable, and excited to learn and grow with a supportive team
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and your own hand tools

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Hands-on carpentry: gazebos, doors, drawers, trim, and general residential work
- Leading small on-site teams and delegating daily tasks
- Keeping projects moving smoothly and on schedule
- Maintaining safe, clean, and professional job sites
- Communicating with clients when needed, always representing Bayswater with professionalism

**Minimum Requirements**
- 5+ years of carpentry experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of all aspects of residential renovations
- Red Seal Certification is a plus—not a requirement
- Valid Driver’s License, personal vehicle, and your own hand tools
