Carpenter Needed for Custom Homes

**Description**:
We are seeking a carpenter to join our team as we do high end renovations and custom homes in the Durham Region area. Someone who loves what they do and is passionate about their craft. Someone who takes pride in his or her work, pays special attention to the smallest detail but can keep the big picture in mind. Someone who can see and maintain a high quality of work on a project with little to no supervision. Someone who gets excited by challenges and is a good problem solver. Someone who enjoys being an integral part of our team.

**Skills needed to win**:

- Be organized, a construction site is an ever-changing organism. You need to be able to coordinate your time to complete the projects given to you
- Proficiency in tools of the trade: Power tools, hand tools, the use of best practices for product installations, and a variety of software programs like Excel, Word, and ability to learn scheduling programs (we use Buildertrend)
- 4 years carpentry experience
- Top-notch communication skills, including the ability to present research and ideas clearly to Clients, team members and Owner
- You **must** have your own vehicle and a valid driver’s license

We are offering a competitive wage based on experience. We cover the cost for ongoing training and/or schooling. Pay mileage when traveling between job sites.

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
