CNC Machinist

**Summary (Two Positions Available)**

Moeller Precision Tool is actively seeking skilled CNC machinists proficient in both manual and CNC machines. As a CNC machinist, you will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for machining steel parts used in production.

We currently have two distinct positions available:
1. Precision Grinder Machinist:

- In this role, your expertise will primarily involve working with Manual and CNC Grinders.
- You will ensure precision and quality in steel part production using grinding techniques.
- Collaborate with Lathes, Mills, EDM Wire, and other CNC and manual machines as needed.

2. CNC Milling Machinist:

- In this position, your expertise will primarily involve working with CNC Mills.
- You will contribute to efficient steel part production through milling processes.
- Work alongside Lathes, Grinders, EDM Wire, and other CNC and manual machines.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for a CNC Machinist who will meet the following requirements:

- Experience: Accumulation of 2 years' experience in CNC Machine set-up and operating (lathes, mills, EDM, grinders, and more). Expertise with Grinder or Mills, where applicable.
- Precision Instruments: Competency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other inspection gauges.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Skills: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, service-oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Physical Stamina: Able to work 8-10 hours a day while standing.
- Education: High school diploma or GED. Basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills

**Valued but Not Essential**:

- Familiarity: Mazak, OKUMA, G&M code, and/or FANUC controls is a plus.
- Tools: Own a locking toolbox with basic hand tools to start.

**Schedule**:

- Day Shift with Overtime.
- Saturday as needed.
- A normal work week is about 50 hours per week.
- Exact schedule to be discussed.

**Compensation**:
$20.00 - $30/hour, determined based on qualifications and relevant expertise.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 - 50 per week
