**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced **ICI Mechanical Estimator** with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, plumbing, hydronic heating and chilled water. This position also requires a strong understanding of the construction tendering process

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Full-cycle estimating
- Ability to assess risk implications, estimating/bidding metrics and value engineering solutions.
- Fluent ability to read, analyze and interpret plans, schematics, specifications, tender documents and contracts.
- Capable of managing time effectively, in order to comply with rigid deadlines.
- Perform detailed reviews of suppliers, subcontractor and vendor quotations.
- Confidence in preforming software-based on-Screen take-offs, estimate preparation and pricing database management.
- Advanced computer skills and fluency in using Microsoft office software.

**Education and Experience**
- 5+ year’s experience in ICI mechanical estimating.
- Plumbing Certificate of qualification
- A proven track record in this field

**Other valued Assets**
- Strong network and knowledge of vendors and contractors in our market.
- Knowledge of sheet metal systems and take-off
- Experience using Revit & AutoCAD software
- Post secondary education
