**Loader Operator**

The Loader Operator's main focus is to support the Highway's construction production, and becoming a key member of the crew.

**What is the role?**
- Keeps asphalt paver bins constantly fed with front end loader.
- Loading and directing trucks.
- Accepts daily aggregate deliveries from suppliers and keeps aggregate piles maintained.
- Helps foreman and plant operator with maintenance & repair of drum mix asphalt plant during break downs.
- Performs daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Operates loader on public or private roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones’ surroundings.
- Ensures company equipment is operated in a safe manner and in accordance with Carmacks Equipment maintenance practices.
- Attends daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
- Completes daily safety documentation.

**What we value?**
- Minimum 3 years of experience running a Loader
- Possesses proven abilities in loader operation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Experience working with a highways crew is a strong asset
- Overtime and weekend work is required
