Autobody Tech/back up painter
- Ability to repair cosmetic damage-Ability to refinish vehicles
- Ability to perform metal work, welding, reshape/refit body panels and components
- Ability to remove and replace electrical, electrononical components, wiring harnesses.
- Ability and knowledge in buffing post painted vehicles
- Inspection of projects prior to refinishing to ensure all prep and repair work is complete
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and masking
Qualifications:
- Ability to take direction from supervisor
- Must have experience as an auto body Tech or in a similar role, with your own tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair techniques
- Must have proven past automotive painting experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Knowledge of dealership procedures and standards is a plus
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Automotive repair: 3 years (required)
- Automotive painting: 3 years (required)
