SLEC is located in Oakville (Winston-Churchill Blvd and the QEW) serving residents from across the Mississauga and Halton Regions.

SLEC is seeking creative, motivated activity professionals with experience to join our team What You Will Do: Reporting to the Program Coordinator and according to established expectations for service excellence consistent with SLEC’s Policies and Procedures, **the Activity Coordinator Team Lead**:

- Leads the activity team in the planning and coordination of activities that support the client care plan
- Oversees the development of the monthly program calendar
- Creates/ develops the Daily Schedule
- Completes client care planning and documentation
- Assists clients in performing Activities of Daily Living
- Communicate effectively with the team members, clients, volunteers and caregivers

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- A degree or diploma in recreation, activation or gerontology
- A minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in a related field
- Passion & focus on the person centred approach What Will Set You Apart:

- Previous leadership experience
- Gentle Persuasive Approach Certificate
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
