**About This Opportunity**

Springview Family Practice is looking for two full time Family Physicians to join our team of health care professionals.

This clinic is located in the heart of Halifax on Spring Garden Road with close proximity to the universities, great schools and both the QEII and IWK hospitals.

Our Clinic has capacity to accommodate three full time family Physicians and has fully equipped examining rooms and excellent support staff who provide exceptional support and services to the doctors.

The clinic uses the TELUS electronic medical record (EMR) system along with other on line tools to facilitate both patient and physician proficiency.

The team at Springview Family Practice is committed to providing great service to our physicians and patients, has flexible schedules and clinic operating hours allowing for both face to face and virtual patient encounters with ease.

This flexibility is supported with competitive overhead charges allowing our physicians to focus solely on their patients.

We would be delighted to meet and give a tour to interested doctors.

**Responsibilities**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention
- Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners’
- Act as a patient’s advocate
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations
- Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements

**Expected Hours**

Full-time, 1.0FTE

**Qualifications**
- Eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia(CPSNS)
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada(CFPC)
- Canadian Medical Protective Association(CMPA)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $250,000.00-$300,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

All patients are required to wear masks to enter the clinic. We also provide sanitizer and free masks for our staff.

Licence/Certification:

- License with the CPSNS (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Halifax, NS
