**Food Service Supervisor**:Thai Corner Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant located in a beautiful Sidney by the sea on Vancouver Island. **Position Title: Food Service Supervisor NOC/TEER 62020**

**Terms of Employment**:

- Full
- time - Permanent position
- Wage: $17.50 per hour, for hours per week.

Position available: 1

**Job Descriptions / Main Duties**:

- Establish work schedule
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of kitchen staff
- Oversee and order ingredient and supplies needed at the restaurant
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare food order summaries for cook
- Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Prepare and submit reports
- Assist with menu, budget, and marketing plan

**Skill / Experience Requirements**:
Experience : 2 years of work experience in supervising role

Education : Completion of Secondary(high) School

Completion of post secondary education in related field is an asset

Language : Must have good English communication Skills.

Work Site Environment : Standing for extended periods
