**Job Summary**

The Thermoforming Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining thermoforming equipment used to manufacture plastic parts and packaging products. This role ensures efficient production runs, high product quality, and adherence to safety and operational standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Set up and operate thermoforming machines in accordance with production schedules and product specifications.

- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure continuous and efficient production.

- Inspect formed parts for quality, dimensions, and defects, making necessary adjustments to maintain standards.

- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of thermoforming equipment.

- Record production data including quantities produced, downtime, and material usage.

- Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams to resolve technical or material issues.

- Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.

- Assist in die changes, setup verification, and process optimization for new molds.

- Maintain organized and clean work areas.

**Qualifications**

- High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma preferred).

- Minimum 1 3 years of experience operating thermoforming or similar plastic manufacturing equipment.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine setup and adjustments.

- Basic math and measurement skills.

- Ability to read blueprints and production specifications.

- Knowledge of safety and quality procedures in manufacturing environments.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

**Preferred Skills**

- Experience with plug-assist or vacuum-forming systems.

- Familiarity with robotic trimming or downstream automation.

- Basic maintenance or electrical troubleshooting skills.

- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma awareness.
