**Now Hiring: Health Care Aide (Part-Time)**
**Location: Sidney Care Home - Sidney, BC**
We are currently seeking **Health Care Aides (HCAs)** to join our team at **Sidney Care Home**, located in Vancouver Island in sunny Sidney, BC.

**About Sidney Care Home**
Sidney Care offers residential care to 54 clients, has been in operation for many years and provides a home like environment to its residents.

The facility was recently renovated and is tastefully decorated.

Sidney Care works in collaboration with the Vancouver Island Health Authority, to ensure quality care to all of our clients.
**What You’ll Do**
As an HCA at Sidney, you’ll play a vital role in providing **resident-centered care**. Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide holistic personal, emotional and psychosocial care to residents
- Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skincare, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing, and grooming
- Use a variety of specialized equipment such as electric beds, mechanical lifts, tubs, and wheelchairs
- Actively participate in facility meetings and education programs.
- Assist in admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
- Ensure the highest resident safety and well-being
- Monitor, report, and document changes in resident’s health status

**What You Bring**
- Graduate from an approved Care Aide, RCA, Nursing assistant, or PSW program
- Registered and in good standing with the BC Care Aide Registry
- Must have a valid Canadian work permit
- Current First Aid, WHMIS and Food Safe Certificates.
- Must be in good health and be physically able to perform all aspects of the position.
- Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
- COVID-19 Immunization Certificate
