Soccer Coach Manager

Are you looking for an amazing opportunity to work with our team of coaches in the delivery of our programming? Do you have leadership experience? Are you available on Saturday and Sunday mornings and some weeknights? Do you have your own reliable vehicle to travel to various locations across London?

Little Kickers provides children 1.5 to 7 years of age a positive introduction to sport through our play-structured soccer classes. Our soccer skills and games are taught in a fun, non-competitive environment with our coaches using their imagination and creativity to deliver our lesson plans in an engaging and playful atmosphere.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing our coaching teams (approximately 15-40 coaches depending on season).
- Participating in coach recruitment, hiring, training and corresponding with coaches regularly.
- Participating in the development and/or tweaking of lesson plans on an ongoing basis and distributing same to the coaching team.
- Assessing coach performance and communicating areas for improvement to coach teams on an ongoing basis during the work term.
- Coach scheduling and attendance reporting; submitting coach hours monthly for payroll purposes.
- Coordinating weekly summary reports and following up with management team to ensure the effective delivery of programming to our customer base at all times.
- Organizing and distributing supplies (balls/nets/uniforms) to coach teams across the region.
- Special event planning and organizing.
- Acting as Coach during absences of regular coaches, as required.

**Requirements**:

- Positive, solution-focused attitude towards problem-solving and excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to engage and supervise your coach teams.
- High energy individual with a good level of fitness and able to coach soccer skills/games with young children for 3+ hours, as required.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and excellent time management.
- Administrative skills and computer literacy (Google Docs, Excel, etc.).
- Management, supervisory and/or leadership experience.
- Valid G Driver's license and own vehicle is mandatory with ability to travel to different locations in London.
- Must be able to work weekend mornings consistently.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality who enjoys working with children, parents, and coach teams.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently or with a team of coaches.
- Current First Aid or CPR Certification a definite asset.

Location: London, Ontario

Part-time

Rate of Pay: $20 - $21 per hour

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Every Weekend
- Weekends only
