The Fertilizer Plant Operator will be responsible for receiving orders and ensuring fertilizer requests are prepared and dispatched in a timely manner. The ability to adapt and learn in a fast paced, dynamic work environment is key.

**Pay Range**:$24.00 to $30.00 per hour
- Ensure the site is operating safely and efficiently, meeting business standards.
- Communicating with other plants/departments on their short-term fertilizer requirements for efficient operations.
- Identification of any mechanical or other maintenance requirements on equipment.
- Inventory (reporting, cycle counts, production reports, year-end, etc.)
- The coordination of processing and preparing customer delivery orders. Including operating a forklift.
- The dispatching of customer deliveries and stock transfers - ensuring fertilizer orders are delivered accurately and on time
- Assist with developing Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in preparing and issuing invoices to customers.
- Assist with transporting fertilizer as required, operating a 3A Truck.
- 1-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and systems
- Experience operating a forklift
- Ability to communicate at a high level with external customers and team members across the business
- Previous experience operating farm equipment or heavy equipment
- Valid class 3 commercial driver’s license or willingness to obtain
- Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends
- High degree of attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task
