Slitter Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturer is experiencing a growth in many areas of its business, and is looking to hire a Slitter/Saw Operator to join their team in Orangeville, ON.

The Saw/Slitter Operator must be a motivated, highly skilled individual who is looking to shine with his extraordinary creativity and skills.

**Timing**:12-hours continental shifts, with 4-week turnaround. (84 hours biweekly)

**Pay**:21.43$ +.85$ (Vacation Pay) = $22.28/hr.

**Location**:Orangeville, ON

**Requirements**:

- Setup and operate milling/saw processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Measure all dimesnions of the parts being produced and completing first article and in process inspections.
- Operates mill/saw sheets in passes to achieve the desired finish and gauge.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong mechanical skills and problem solving abilities.
- Perform and analyze quality control monitoring and accurate reporting of production.
- 1 year of experience in continuous process manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift upto 50 lbs, push, pull, stand on a concrete floor.
- Hands on experience with hand-held machinary.
