Social Media Manager

**Responsibilities**:
Community Management
- Work closely with the Digital Merchandising & Website Manager to develop organic social media strategy, execute and manage the Lindt Canada organic social calendar for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest that complements the Digital & Content Strategy
- Work closely with Digital Merchandising & Website Manager to align and support in the development of omni-channel content
- Write copy for social media in English and French
- Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute narrative direction for social assets that support campaigns
- Own social media reporting, leveraging analytics to drive strategy
- Share assets with other internal teams including Lindt Global and subsidiaries
- Proactively manage the reputation of Lindt through community management and active social listening and reporting back any issues/concerns to key stakeholders
- Develop process and protocols for social media and ensure adherence to social corporate governance
- Liaise with Customer Care to ensure social issues are escalated and actioned to facilitate and monitor crisis management
Content Creation & Management
- Work closely with Digital Merchandising & Website Manager and Retail team to align on key messaging and offers on all content creation, from photo shoots to copy development, translations, and review for all owned channel communications
- Liaise with freelance photographers and external agencies on bookings, briefings and manage photo shoots
- Assist with sourcing assets for newsletters and participate in the newsletter review process
General Tasks
- Budget/invoice tracking
- Manage translations
- General support to Digital Merchandising & Website Manager
Qualifications:
- A minimum 3 years managing corporate social media activity with a deep understanding and passion for all forms of social media
- Copywriting experience in English and French is essential
- Experience managing content development, content strategies, producing and managing agile content and guiding agency partners in the production of content
- Exposure to developing scorecards, reports and utilization of data for digital media optimization, including techniques for measuring end-to-end effectiveness across social media marketing touch points
- Experience engaging and taking an active role in agency and vendor relationships
- Experience working in the eCommerce space
- A deep understanding of content creation for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and familiarity with Meta Business Suite
- Ability to produce videos for social media is an asset
- Graphic design skills and experience using Canva and PhotoShop is an asset
- Ability to see the big picture while paying attention to the details
- Advanced understanding of social media marketing fundamentals and analytics
- Strong organizational and project management skills with proven interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork orientation and proven leadership capabilities with an ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment, requiring ongoing re-evaluation of priorities
- A sense of humor
