Master Packaging Inc. the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging located in Dieppe NB & Borden, PE is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an **Inventory Coordinator** in the Borden, PE location.

**Responsibilities**:
The Inventory Coordinator will be part of a team that performs job duties in an efficient and effective manner while following Master Packaging Inc. safety and HACCP policies. The Inventory Coordinator will:

- Own the organization, layout, and governance of the maintenance storeroom, ensuring optimal material flow, clear identification, and adherence to standardized storage practices.
- Oversee the receiving process for maintenance parts, validating accuracy, condition, and documentation while resolving discrepancies directly with suppliers and procurement
- Define, maintain, and continuously improve put‑away processes to ensure parts are stored correctly, protected, and easily locatable. Own CMMS inventory data.
- Coordinate and manage internal material movements, including issuing, returns, kitting, and staging of materials to support maintenance execution efficiency.
- Support the development and maintenance of inventory strategies, including min/max levels, critical spares identification, and stocking policies aligned with asset criticality.
- Identify slow‑moving, obsolete, or surplus inventory and recommend disposition strategies to reduce carrying cost and improve working capital.
- Recommend, develop, and track inventory and storeroom KPIs, such as stock accuracy, service level, inventory turns, stockouts, obsolete inventory, and carrying cost.
- Track inventory variances and conduct investigations when variance is large and recommend methods to decrease inventory variances.
- Support and contribute to the maintenance financial month‑end process, including inventory valuation, adjustments, accruals, and variance explanations.
- Identify cost‑reduction and cash‑flow improvement opportunities through inventory optimization, obsolete stock reduction, and improved ordering strategies.
- Prepare and manage documentation for external shipments, returns, warranties, and repairs, ensuring compliance with internal and supplier requirements.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including materials management optimization, CMMS enhancements, and maintenance planning alignment.
- Serve as the primary materials support resource for maintenance and operations, ensuring parts are issued correctly and processes are followed consistently.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to align materials strategies with asset reliability, maintenance plans, and business priorities.
- Other duties as assigned

**Position Requirements**

Years of Experience
- 1 to 2 in a related field

Education Level
- Post-Secondary in a related field
- Participate in ongoing learning towards achieving Parts Technician Red Seal designation.

Preferred experience
- Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing or maintenance environment or storeroom
- Experience in materials management

Required skills
- CMMS and computer literacy
- Microsoft office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail
- Forklift license
- Lifting items up to 55lbs. Heavier items with assistance
- Ability to travel when required
- After hours availability as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Pay**:

- Non Red Seal - $25.26 per hour
- Red Seal -38.43 per hour
