_Brimich is a family owned and operated 3PL & transportation company. _We are growing and looking for a **Health & Safety Administrator** to join our growing team and help us move to the next level._
**Job Summary Statement**:
The **Health & Safety Administrator** is responsible for helping to administer all facets of the heath and safety program under the direction of the H&S Specialist as it pertains to employees, contractors, customers and visitors at our facilities.
**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:
- Maintain, update distribute materials and deliver health & safety training sessions for new hires including safe work practices, use of PPE, machine hazards and pedestrian safety, etc.
- Gather, input and track Accident/Injury Incident reports, Workplace Inspections and other health & safety related documentation.
- Produce and distribute JHSC meeting agendas and minutes; attend JHSC meetings and assist with JHSC membership needs
- Liaise with outside vendors and schedule required health & safety training, such as First Aid, JHSC certification, etc.
- Assist with conducting workplace and First Aid Kit inspections as necessary
- Assist with reviewing all current and future work processes for potential safety hazards and risk concerns and provide alternative solutions
**Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies**:
- Occupational Health & Safety certification diploma/degree or equivalent
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation preferred or willing to complete
- 2 years’ health & safety experience role in warehousing, manufacturing or construction preferred.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment and independently
- Excellent organizational skills and be a self-starter
- Great attention to detail and high accuracy with data entry.
- Strong administrative, presentation and facilitation skills
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety related legislation, provincial and other regulatory guidelines and experience with safety best practices
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- First Aid and CPR certified or willing to complete
