**The Role**

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. is looking for an Apprentice Parts Technician for our East PacLease location, to provide assistance and advice on required parts to internal service technicians, companion parts, and maintain an orderly parts area. The position is tasked with receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the parts area. This position will report into the West end Parts department with a dotted line reporting structure to the PacLease Service Manager.

**Responsibilities**

Have a basic understanding of Kenworth parts and associated electronic Parts catalogues and computer systems

Provision of sound customer service in a fast paced Parts environment

Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available

**Requirements**:

- Apprentice Parts Technician with NAIT or SAIT Parts course
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in a Parts department, preferably in the heavy truck parts industry
- Experience with electronic catalogues

**Shift**

This is a permanent full time position that includes afternoon, evening, and Saturday shifts as well as after-hours phone call out.

**Experience**:

- parts department: 1 year (preferred)
- electronic catalogues: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Apprentice Parts Technician with Nait or Sait Parts course (preferred)
