**The Ministry of the Solicitor General, Ontario Provincial Police, and the Commander of West Region, is seeking a qualified individual to join our Wellington Detachment. In this exciting, rewarding and challenging opportunity, you will provide reception, administrative and clerical services for the Collision Reporting Centre.**

**About the job**: To provide reception, administrative and clerical services for the Collision Reporting Centre.**What you bring to the team**:
**Mandatory requirements**:
- Ability to pass an OPP background/ security investigation.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Knowledge of relevant sections of OPP, ministry and divisional headquarters manuals, policies, protocols, procedures practices and relevant legislations to provide administrative and clerical support to the divisional headquarters including providing information to general inquiries from staff and public, filing documents, processing fingerprints and mug shots, etc.
- Knowledge of terminology pertaining to the divisional operations to prepare correspondence, reports, and documents.
- Knowledge of OPP operations and structure to answer routine enquiries and to direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of office equipment such as telephone switchboard, photocopier and fax to handle calls quickly, photocopy material, transmit correspondence and documents, and maintain equipment in good working order, arranging for servicing as required.
- Knowledge of records management practices to maintain an organized, up-to-date records system and to locate and correctly file documents. Knowledge of and skill in keyboarding, computer operation and software including Microsoft Word and Excel to produce documents, type correspondence, and produce statistical reports/spreadsheets.
- Oral communication and interpersonal skills to clarify the nature of requests from callers, relay messages, and respond to enquiries by providing detailed information, in person and by phone to agencies, companies, police services, and the public. Written communication skills to compose correspondence, proofread a variety of documents, compile reports and summarize information.
