IT Analyst

**Pacific Smoke International** is Canada’s leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and manufacturer of award-winning vaping products. We are a young, thriving company, located in Markham and we are seeking a culturally aligned and skilled **IT Analyst** to join our team.

As an IT Analyst, you work closely with a team of IT professionals with the primary responsibility to execute local IT projects, provide solutions to issues. This includes, but is not limited to user support, computer setup, maintenance and service, telecommunications, assisting with network and infrastructure maintenance and all other technology needs of the office. Strong desktop troubleshooting skills will be used to handle technical support request and determine root cause including diagnosing and resolving issues with PC’s, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals. The platforms supported are, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Lenovo and Microsoft computers, networked printers, Corporate Android phones, and other mobile BYOD devices.

**Essential duties and responsibilities**:

- Providing support and troubleshoot for a variety of technologies including but not limited to: Server administration, anti-virus, Office 365, Windows 10, Azure AD
- Manage employee on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
- Performs troubleshooting, analysis, of network and systems infrastructure to diagnose and resolve system and connectivity problems
- Manage and configure VoIP systems, meeting rooms, conference systems and A/V systems.
- Manage ITSM software and audit IT asset inventory (mobile devices, laptops, workstations and associated hardware).
- Manage and secure endpoint devices using tools such as MDM and endpoint protection software.
- Help ensure company IT policies and security practices are adhered to.
- Responsible for effectively developing, testing, recommending, and implementing new IT systems and processes
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with customers, suppliers, and outside contacts, as well as effective working relationships with area staff, other departments, and with management
- Develops reports, presentations, or updates as necessary to keep management informed of systems performance, systems lifecycles, technical problem management, project status and systems status
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Completed education in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years experience in an IT support role with experience supporting MacOS, Windows, Google workspace, Microsoft Office365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, intune
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Outside-the-box thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills.

**Work Remotely**:

- Our office is located in Markham, ON. Our team is currently working from home on a full-time basis. This is a temporary arrangement due to Covid-19 and will transition back to the office (hybrid structure) in the future.
