**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a home care setting. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you assist. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and those requiring additional support.

**Duties**
As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding when necessary.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients.
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in patient condition to nursing staff/management.
- Assisting with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when required.
- Supporting patients with dementia care by implementing appropriate communication techniques and activities.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Documenting patient care activities accurately in accordance with company policies.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in caregiving or patient care settings, particularly in assisted living, home care or nursing home environments.
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks associated with patient mobility and transfers.
- A compassionate demeanor combined with patience and understanding towards individuals requiring care.
- Morning shift availability.
- Preferably drives anywhere in the city.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
